Role Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including account reconciliation and journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key trends, variances, and actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax filings, including VAT and GST.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, supporting business decision-making.
• Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to senior leadership to aid in business growth and cost management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 years in a senior role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
