Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Java GCP Developer with 9+ years of expertise in Java development and hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and modern frameworks like Spring Boot.

- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and BigQuery to build scalable and efficient solutions.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for cloud-based applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in cloud architecture and application development.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security in the GCP environment.

- Leverage GCP tools like Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Bigtable, and Cloud SQL for data handling and processing.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployments.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in cloud-based applications.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Java and GCP to bring innovative solutions.

Required Skills :

Java Development :

- Advanced skills in Java with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.

GCP Expertise :

Proficient in using GCP services, including :

- Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions

- BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL

- Networking and IAM configurations

- Microservices Development : Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerized deployments.

- API Development : Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- DevOps Integration : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

- Database Management : Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and debugging skills to address application and performance issues.

- Agile Methodology : Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Experience :

- 9+ years of Java development experience.

- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on GCP experience.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Google Professional Cloud Developer

- Google Associate Cloud Engineer
