Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in machines, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulics.
• Conduct precision fitting and alignment of machine parts.
• Operate lathe, milling, and grinding machines for part fabrication and repairs.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good condition.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance team for efficient issue resolution.

Education & Experience:

• ITI or Trade Certificate in Fitting/Turning or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial machinery, mechanical tools, and machine shop equipment.

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Skilled in fitting, turning, grinding, and welding.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts if required.
