Database Developer

We re looking for a Senior Database Administrator to join our WPG Team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

 

What you will own :

1.Understanding various schemas and important DB objects within WPG and how different schemas and databases interact with each other.
2.Performing extensive database code review and checking if code is according to coding convention.
3.Suggesting better way of writing DB code and/or query during code review.
4.Resolving technical issues related to DB for teams.
5.Particiating in software design meetings.
6.Writing DB code for new features of production issue fix.
7.Understanding and executing DB build process and explaining teams issues occurred in builds and helping them to correct them.
8.Performing golden gate setup and resolving basic golden gate issues.
9.Will be part of performance tuning team and resolving performance issues faced by team.

What you bring :

1.Should have 7+ years of experience in Oracle and PL/SQL.
2.Experience in understanding/modifying complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
3.Experience in performance tuning DB queries and procedures.
4.Knowledge of basic Unix.
5.Experience in DB design and coding.
