What youll own

A leadership role in managing ESXi, Windows, and Linux systems overseeing a team of system administrators and engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualized, Windows, and Linux-based infrastructure within an organization. As a leader in this capacity, your responsibilities may include:

Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the organizations ESXi, Windows, and Linux systems, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and objectives.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of system administrators and engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure the teams success and professional development.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to ESXi, Windows, and Linux systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient ESXi, Windows, and Linux-based systems, including virtualized infrastructure, networking, storage, and security solutions.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, senior leaders and service providers to evaluate and procure hardware, software, and services for ESXi, Windows, and Linux systems, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that ESXi, Windows, and Linux systems comply with industry regulations, security best practices, and organizational policies, conducting audits and implementing controls to mitigate risks.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement measures to enhance the efficiency and reliability of ESXi, Windows, and Linux systems.
Incident Response and Problem Resolution: Lead the response to system incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with the team to resolve problems promptly and minimize impact on operations.
Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with key stakeholders, including IT leadership, business executives, and Application teams, to provide updates on system initiatives, address concerns, and solicit feedback to improve services.

You will own it in our Vibrant Office Locations as Pune/Indore hub .

What you bring:

Experience: Several years of experience in system administration, engineering, or related roles in a Global organization. Experience managing ESXi, Windows, and Linux-based systems, virtualized environments, and complex IT infrastructure is essential across multiple hardware platforms.
Leadership and management skills: Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team of IT professionals, are crucial for this leadership role. Experience in team management, mentoring, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution is important.
Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of ESXi, Windows Server, Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies, networking, storage, and security concepts is essential for this leadership role. Hands-on experience with system architecture, design, and implementation is valuable.
Project management: Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication, is important for overseeing technology initiatives and ensuring successful project delivery.
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effectively communicating with team members, stakeholders, executives, and end users. The ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner is important.
Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for addressing complex technology challenges, troubleshooting system issues, and making informed decisions to drive system improvements.
Strategic thinking: A strategic mindset, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals, develop long-term technology plans, and identify opportunities for innovation and optimization, is important for a leadership role.

Added bonus if you have:

Education: A bachelors degree or greater in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Practical experience in the role can be used in place of formal education.
Certifications: Certifications in virtualization technologies are highly valued. Any certifications for MSCE, RH or VMware Certified Professional (VCP), VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), and Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) are looked at favorably
