Power BI Developer - Dashboard Design (1-2 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a PowerBI Developer to join our team starting in mid-March or April. The ideal candidate will have >5 years experience working in PowerBI. Candidate should have experience migrating from other BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Services, Qlik, or Microstrategy.

As a PowerBI Report Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

- Migrate existing reports and dashboards from other BI tools to PowerBI.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.

- Optimize PowerBI reports for performance and usability.

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.

- Provide training and support to end-users on PowerBI functionalities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, SQL and relational databases.

- Proven experience as a PowerBI Report Developer.

- Experience with migrations to PowerBI from other BI tools (e., Tableau, QlikView, etc.

- Strong proficiency in PowerBI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query and Row Level Security (RLS).

- Excellent data visualization, UI and storytelling skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication, collaboration skills & Stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SQL and data modeling.

- Strong SQL skills will be preferred.

- Knowledge of Data Vault, data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
