Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth in the freight forwarding industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to expand our customer base and market share.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the target market, focusing on both Ocean/Sea and Air Freight (Export and Import).
  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closure, utilizing CRM tools.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and improve performance.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client retention and satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the freight forwarding industry
  • Strong understanding of Ocean and Air Freight operations, customs regulations, and international trade
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
