Industrial Design Engineer

We are looking for Industrial Design Engineer for Mumbai location

Experience : 5+ years

Looking for Mumbai based candidates only.

Position Summary:

The candidate act as a strong technical resource and will be instrumental in identifying future technical product range that can be developed by extensive research and benchmarking.

Work Responsibilities:

1. Research and benchmarking of products

2. Selection of product and understanding its details

3. BOM explosion and identifying key components.

4. Gap identification between existing assembly status and required setup.

5. Liaison with external agencies for bridging the gap including quality certifications.

6. Working closely with Sourcing, Production, QAQC teams and support them technically.

7. Act as technical resource for Work Store suppliers.

Required Competencies:

1. Ability to understand Engineering Drawing and Design parameters Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics

2. Visualization sense how product to be built from scratch.

3. Analytical skill, Planning ability, Communication skill, good team worker.

4. Project Management.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics); P G Diploma in Industrial Design with 5 years of experience in Design / manufacturing organization.

"AutoCAD knowledge is must" & knowledge of Solid Work would be an added advantage.

Key performance Indicator:

Creation of Project plan for product development and its execution as per schedule.
