Industrial Engineer

Role & responsibilities -

• Design and implement efficient material handling systems, select suitable equipment, optimize layouts, and ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards.
• Lead initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, JIT, and Value Stream Mapping to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct detailed studies to establish labor standards, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to reduce cycle time.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and improve quality, aligning with production goals.
• Evaluate, procure, and integrate advanced technologies and automation solutions for material handling and manufacturing operations.
• Use data from time studies and Lean initiatives to monitor KPIs, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making.
• Train employees on best practices in Lean Manufacturing, material handling, and time study techniques, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
