Physiotherapist - Home Care

Role & responsibilities

• Assess the patient's physical health, including muscle strength, joint mobility, coordination, posture, and overall function.
• Establish personalized treatment goals that focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include exercises, stretches, and manual therapy, adapted to the patients specific condition and abilities.
• Help patients improve their balance, coordination, and gait, especially for those recovering from stroke or surgery.
• Educate the patient on the proper use of assistive devices like walkers, crutches, or canes to aid mobility and enhance safety.
• Offer advice on exercise routines, nutrition, and other lifestyle changes to help manage conditions and improve long-term health outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from an accredited institution is essential.
• Specialized certifications in areas like neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal therapy, geriatric care, or pediatrics can be advantageous.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting (hospital, rehabilitation center, or outpatient care) is preferred.
• Proficiency in creating personalized rehabilitation plans based on the patients needs, goals, and physical limitations.
• Clear and effective communication with patients, caregivers, family members, and other healthcare professionals. Strong listening skills to understand patient concerns and preferences.
