Operations Head

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the hospital.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational goals with the hospitals mission and vision.
• Manage the hospital budget, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze financial data to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
• Oversee daily operations, including patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Implement policies and procedures to improve operational processes and patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor staff across various departments to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee projects aimed at improving hospital services, infrastructure, or technology.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on operational goals.
• Represent the hospital in community and professional settings.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for emergencies or unforeseen challenges affecting hospital operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
• Significant experience in healthcare operations management, with a focus on hospital settings.
• Proven track record in leadership roles, demonstrating successful project and team management.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in healthcare management or operations
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
