Graduate degree in Mechanical engineering or General MBA or MBA in Sales and Marketing
Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
This is an entry level Proposals services trainee role working as part of a one-year development programme towards a full Business Development Executive and Proposals Administrator role.
Assist in the development and execution of strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets
Work with the Proposals Team to produce winning proposals or bids
Contribute to sales enablement including the development of presentation material and BD /Sales meeting or conference support
Responsible for supporting the objectives of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Policy and Information Security Management Policy by adhering to applicable procedures and work practices while fulfilling of duties.
Receive Training in software s and corporate procedures and systems.
Business Development Responsibilities
Assist the sales team by preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other relevant materials to help close deals.
Contribute to Wood s sales enablement program through conferences, client events, and presentations.
Work collaboratively with various teams (sales, marketing etc.) to ensure cohesive efforts.
Assist in the identification and generation of potential leads through research, networking, and outreach efforts
Assist in building and nurturing relationships with existing clients and prospects to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market research findings
Proposal Services Responsibilities
Work as part of the Proposals Team to develop and submit winning proposals
Maintain the proposals database and document control for all ongoing activities
Support the proposals team with the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
Support the process and checklist in all document management and communication
On arrival of new requests, under the guidance of the Proposals Coordinators, ensure the set-up of relevant files and distribute the customer packages to the team, as required. Adherence to procedures and processes is required.
Ensuring the preparation and distribution of key proposal documentation to the relevant teams on time
Support the proposals coordinators in the development and submission of proposals to the BUs, ensuring all timelines are met
Liaise with Proposal Managers/Proposal Coordinators to drive contribution of submitted Proposals / Bids / Sales enablement go-by materials to Wood Knowledge
