Oracle Projects Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Implementation and rollout of Oracle ERP Cloud Project Management (Costing, Billing, Contracts, Planning, Resource Management, Capital Projects etc.) along with Oracle Financials modules.
• Integration of Oracle ERP Cloud with upstream and downstream systems
• Work directly with business users and consulting partners as an Oracle Cloud Projects functional consultant.
• Assist in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, participate in the fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, and conference room pilots (CRP)
• Assist with design, implementation, testing and support of RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements/Extensions/PaaS solutions, and Workflows) to ensure system capabilities are practical and efficient.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, write functional design documents, develop test plans, and work with developers.
• Perform functional configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and conduct user training sessions.
• Perform data conversion mapping, conversion mock runs, production conversion and data reconciliation.
• Build and maintain configuration documents, functional specification documents, test scripts, user training manuals etc.
• Design and implement custom roles within Oracle Cloud for function security and data security.
• Coordinate, implement, and communicate system change requirements.
• Assist in Production support and maintenance activities.
• Support project life cycle, SLA management, and work with Oracle product support and Cloud Infra support groups.
• Coordinate with team members in multiple time zones.
• 5 years overall experience required in Oracle Financials & Projects; 2 years preferred in Oracle Cloud Project Management modules.
• Minimum of 1 complete full-cycle implementation and hyper care support of Oracle Cloud Projects modules integrating with Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets etc.
• Experience working in multi-ERP model, supporting various integration processes is preferred.
