DB Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and fine tune schemas of RDBMS.
• Review, Understand, Analyse and optime the Stored Procedures

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.

• Understand and apply database normalization principles to ensure data integrity and reduce redundancy.
• Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
• Perform data modeling and create Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) to represent database structures.
• Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Conduct regular database backups and recovery procedures.
• Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
• Provide support and training to other team members on database-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, including primary keys, foreign keys, and normalization.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
