Scala Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Scala-based applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Scala Developer or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of functional programming principles.

Proficiency with Scala frameworks such as Akka, Play, and Spark.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

Knowledge of concurrency and multithreading.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of other programming languages like Java or Python.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Certification in Scala or related technologies
