Sql Server Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, backup,

recovery, and security.

• Design and implement database structures and data models to support business

requirements.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, including data loading, query optimization, and performance

tuning will be an added advantage.

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and

reliability. • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.

• Provide support for data migration and integration projects involving Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and

procedures.

• Implement and enforce data security measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory

standards.

• Assist in capacity planning and database scaling as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to database management and

Snowflake.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with strong SQL Server skills.
• Experience with database design, normalization, and data modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL and related scripting languages.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based database solution(particularly Azure)

• Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) is a plus.
