Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Executive Finance will be responsible for supporting in all financial activities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, taxation, and reporting practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Taxation and Compliance:
Support in tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with all tax regulations (income tax, GST/VAT, etc).
Coordinate tax filings, audits, and assessments with external tax advisors.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and their implications for the industry.
Internal Controls and Audit Management:
Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Coordinate external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors.
Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Recommend and help in implementing improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify financial risks and support to develop strategies to mitigate them.
Support in ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Legal departments.
Support senior members of the finance team, fostering professional development.
Required skills and qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-1 year of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles
Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience in tax planning, compliance, and audits.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
