Key Responsibilities

Design automation framework, develop and execute test scripts.

Perform technical and test execution activities.

Design and write test cases in Gherkin language i.e. feature files

Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed to support test automation.

Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery of testing assignments.

Follow the test process and continuously improve the quality of the test process.

Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with other functional group.

Assisting the Test Manager in performing automation test estimation if required

Domain Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience in developing Test Automation suite using Java, Cucumber & selenium.

Experience in design and implementation of Test Automation Framework

Good knowledge in Banking domain

Experience and Expertise in developing Test Harness in J2SE / Python

Experience in Continuous Integration Tool Jenkins / Hudson

Experience / Knowledge in Version Control systems like Git , CVS, Subversion, etc

Experience in writing SQLs / PL-SQL

Knowledge in Test Automation Design patterns like PageObject Model, PageObject Factory, etc

Experience in any one of industry standard Test Automation Tools like QTP, TestComplete, etc

Good knowledge in shell scripting & Unix commands

Skills: SDET API

Must Have:

Should be between 5 to 10 years of experience on software test automation using?Java/J2EE (OOPS concepts, design patterns, recursive & non-recursive programming, method overloading, method overriding, Array list, Vector, Seriallization, hashset etc...)/C#

Mandatory experience of 4+ years in automation

Deep hands-on and coding skills with Selenium web-driver / BDD / JS. Senior Pofiles(6+ Yrs) should have framework development experience.

Must & should have good experience in API automation using Rest Assured, Karate etc.

Experience in in-sprint Automation in agile (BDD/Cucumber, Specflow)

Experience in Database validations and SQL

Hands on CICD experience in Maven, GitHub, Jenkins and TestNG, Serenity

Experience in continuous test automation using Jenkins/ADO

Experience in Automation Life Cycle activities like Feasibility, Estimation, Executing PoCs etc.,

Able to debug and give the solution for the given practical problem

Ability to own and drive delivery in an independent manner

Strong on programming logic and problem solving capability

Good to have manual testing experience on the web application

Good communication skill

Should be ready to work out of Wipro premises or Customer Premises atleast 3 days a week

Nice To have:

Knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible / Chef , Docker, Mongo DB, Java script, Spring Boot, Nexus / Jfrog etc

Experience in enabling in-sprint automation for non-functional testing such as Performance (JMeter), Accessibility (Jaws), Visual (Applitools)

Knowledge of code quality tools like Sonar, Jacoco, SeaLights

Exposure to AI/ML concepts and view on its applicability to Testing

Exposure to SRE

Skills: Tosca Automation

4-15 years of experience in software automation testing web applications, and or client/server applications /Packaged Applications

3+ years of experience with the TOSCA Test suite

Good knowledge of TOSCA Model based framework including Test Data Services

Good knowledge in Tosca Automation framework TBOX modules, TCD, Requirements, APIs, in Tosca

Able to understand Software Development Lifecycle for software application testing/deployment process

Lead experience specific to test plans, test cases from system requirements and/or user stories

Strong understanding of testing deliverables within Agile and Scrum methodologies

Certified in TOSCA AS1 & AS2

Skills: Performance Testing

Experience:

Minimum work experience: 5+ Years

General:

Evaluate Open-source tools to compliment the capabilities in a continues integration model.

Should have tested applications developed-using .NET, JAVA, SAP Web, SAP GUI, MQ etc.,

Should have performed early performance testing.

Ability to Work closely with development team, participating in design discussions and make sure performance guidelines are followed.

Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability & scalability.

Good hands-on experience with scripting with tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter, NeoLoad, any mobile performance tool.

Should have worked in protocols like Web (HTTP/HTML), Web service, Java, RTE, Java Over HTTP, True Client & Mobile protocols etc.,

Ability to write user defined functions/custom code to automate the script challenges.

Identifying the performance issues in the early stage of test cycle and propose possible solutions.

Should have knowledge in any programing languages like Core Java, Python etc.

Monitoring & Analysis:

In depth knowledge in monitoring (Client side, Server Side, DB, Network and Load Balancer).

Should have analyzed & provided suggestions to dev/infra team on the issues noticed through APM tools Wily, App Dynamics, Dyntrace, Splunk, New Relic etc.,

Should have developed automated utilities to analyze the logs/reports.

Should have worked on Unix/Linux commands like VMSTAT, NMON etc.,

Should have written SQL queries, used profiling tools like SQL Profiler.

Should have knowledge on JVM, CLR.

Good knowledge on Server Tuning & Optimization.

Good knowledge on Capacity Planning.

Install, configure, maintain and administer the performance tools.

Should have worked on Heap and thread dump analysis using any tool.

Skills: WorkSoft

Should have min. 5+ years in Test automation on SAP

Should have strong Worksoft Certify automation tool experience, min 3+ years on Worksoft certify automation

Should have good exposure to working on SAP ECC and/or SAP S4HANA

Should have strong communication skills

Should have strong experience on working on HP ALM / Octane tool

Should possess Team management & collaboration experience

Skills: SAP Functional Testing

Should have good experience to testing on SAP ISU & SAP S4HANA in the modules of Device Management, Billing or FICA or SD, MM & FICO

Minimum of 4+ years of experience on SAP Testing

Should have strong communication skills

Should have strong experience on working on test management tools such as HP ALM / Octane/qTest

Should be able to lead a team of 8-10 testers
