SAP ABAP/HANA Developer (8-10 yrs)

Role : SAP ABAP with HANA Developer

Location : Hybrid (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayawada )

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).

- Develop and implement custom ABAP solutions to meet business requirements.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Debug and resolve complex ABAP issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation.

- Develop and optimize HANA-based applications using native HANA SQL, CDS views, and stored procedures.

- Leverage HANA capabilities for data modeling, performance optimization, and real-time analytics.

- Design and implement HANA-optimized ABAP code.

- Develop and maintain HANA Calculation Views and Analytical Views.

- Integrate ABAP applications with HANA data models.

- Analyze and optimize ABAP and HANA code for performance and scalability.

- Utilize HANA performance analysis tools and techniques.

- Implement best practices for HANA data modeling and query optimization.

- Perform SQL trace and runtime analysis to identify and resolve performance issues.

- Develop and implement ABAP solutions for SAP S/4HANA systems.

- Leverage S/4HANA-specific features and functionalities.

- Develop and maintain Fiori applications and OData services.

- Migrate custom code and data to S/4HANA.

- Design and implement integrations with other SAP modules and external systems.

- Utilize various integration technologies, including RFC, IDoc, Web Services, and APIs.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

- Participate in system and user acceptance testing.

- Identify and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for team members and stakeholders.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP ABAP and HANA technologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, basis administrators, and business analysts.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Participate in agile development processes.

- Provide regular updates on development progress and issues.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Extensive experience with SAP HANA development, including native HANA SQL, CDS views, and stored procedures.

- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and development.

- Experience with Fiori application development and OData services.

- Proficiency in ABAP development tools and techniques.

- Experience with database technologies (HANA, Oracle, DB2).

- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
