IBM Sterling OMS Developer - DOJO Framework (5-7 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Developer with expertise in the Dojo framework. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing OMS solutions while ensuring smooth system integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions within IBM Sterling OMS.

- Develop and maintain custom agents, services, and user exits.

- Configure and customize Sterling OMS workflows and business rules.

- Implement integrations with external systems (ERP, WMS, CRM).

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OMS issues.

- Develop and maintain user interfaces and custom components using the Dojo JavaScript framework.

- Enhance and customize Sterling OMS user interfaces using Dojo widgets and libraries.

- Optimize Dojo-based UI performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

- Implement and maintain Dojo-based event handling and data binding.

- Design and implement integrations using various protocols (REST, SOAP, JMS).

- Work with integration tools and technologies, including XML, XSLT, and JSON.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

- Participate in system and user acceptance testing.

- Identify and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for team members and stakeholders.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS and Dojo framework.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Participate in agile development processes.

- Provide regular updates on development progress and issues.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in IBM Sterling OMS development and customization.

- Strong proficiency in the Dojo JavaScript framework.

- Extensive experience with IBM Sterling OMS configurations, APIs, and extensions.

- Experience with Java development and related technologies.

- Experience with XML, XSLT, and JSON.

- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.

- Experience with database technologies (Oracle, DB2).

- Strong understanding of OMS concepts and order fulfillment processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

- Ability to work within the IST time zone.

Preferred Qualifications :

- IBM Sterling OMS certifications.

- Experience with other JavaScript frameworks ( React, Angular).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of IBM Sterling OMS.

- Experience with Agile methodologies.
