Preparing & filing various Income Tax returns & ensure timely assessment in compliance.
Responsibilities:
Financial Statement Preparation: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc.) in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Income Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various income tax returns (corporate, individual, etc.) accurately and within deadlines. Ensure timely assessment and compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement. May also be involved in assisting with external audits.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks. Provide insights and recommendations to management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
Internal Controls: Evaluate and recommend improvements to internal control procedures.
Tax Planning: Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Communication: Communicate effectively with management, external auditors, and tax authorities.
