National Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- The National Sales Manager oversees the national sales, distribution, and corporate sales, and customer service.
- This role is to build and maintain a high-performance sales organization to effectively achieve business objectives.
- S/He is expected to be committed to the mission of maximizing impact and driving mission and goals, overseeing the activities of the RSM, ASM, SO, and their teams, and ensuring that the brand becomes well-known and recognized within the country for assigned brands.
- Drive sales objectives and achieve commercial budget and targets, through Distribution & Modern Trade channels by adhering to the brand guidelines.
- Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as upselling to the existing customer base, in Distribution & MTO sales channels.
- Ensuring accurate annual sales forecasting and account planning and advising the management on market conditions and strategies required to achieve sales targets
- Supervising a team of sales professionals involved in promoting brands by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, Motivating, providing direction, and disciplining employees by measuring the sales force's progress in assigned territories.
- Building strong relationships with key accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Implementation of various initiatives like B2B App & MIR Reporting applications.
- Managing and expanding the business within agreed and set parameters and complying with professional & business ethics.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and build the brand and improve visibility and increase penetration.
- Ensure the prescribed sales/stock to ratio is maintained at Company WH, Distributors, and MTOs.
- Responsible for managing the Branch offices in Delhi and Mumbai.
- SOP Guidelines to be implemented and ensure the team is following the set guidelines.
- Any other special assignments as applicable
