Project Manager - Vulnerability and Risk Management

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager with expertise in Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, and team leadership to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects in a fast-paced environment. This role involves meticulous tracking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise tracking of email communications, project-related details, and outstanding tasks.
• Manage and update a shared Outlook calendar to reflect daily activities, meetings, and project timelines.
• Host regular internal meetings via MS Teams with cross-functional subject-matter experts (SMEs) to gather updates and define project deliverables.
• Maintain and update project plans and client logs using SmartSheet and SamePage. Responsibilities include:
• Adding and modifying task line items as needed.
• Communicating delays and identifying potential issues.
• Coordinating and scheduling necessary follow-up meetings.
• Attend frequent client-facing meetings hosted by SMEs through platforms like MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Prepare, distribute, and follow up on client-facing meeting notes promptly after each meeting.
• Monitor for scope creep and effectively address client needs while mitigating risks of late delivery or change requests.
• Oversee timely completion of outstanding tasks related to vCISO and/or Vulnerability Team assignments.
• Collaborate closely with vCISO and/or Vulnerability Team members to resolve any issues that may delay project progress, driving these issues to resolution.
• Act as a liaison between internal SMEs and clients to ensure smooth communication and alignment of deliverables.
• Monitor and report on the performance of assigned team members, providing actionable feedback as necessary.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Project Management practices.
• Successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Vulnerability Management and Risk Management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in team handling and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in using project management tools such as SmartSheet, SamePage, Outlook, and communication platforms like MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Ability to identify, track, and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a vCISO or Vulnerability Management environment.
• Familiarity with security risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
