Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As Senior DevOps Engineer at WhizAI you will:

• Manage infrastructure in private and public clouds (AWS, Azure & GCP)
• Design, implement, and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and data pipelines.
• Deploy & Monitor application on premise and in Customer data centres
• Integrate the WhizAI platform with external enterprise data sources like Databases, Data Warehouses, Analytical Stores, Hadoop and ERP/CRM systems.
• Implement DevOps solutions and automation processes using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Assume responsibility for accomplishing personal and team goals and mentor junior members of the team.

Key Skills

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or similar degree
• Minimum 8+ years experience working as DevOps Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes with one Cloud Platform flavor (EKS, AKS, etc.)
• Strong understanding of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD (Jenkins) methodologies and tools.
• Prior experience with Unix and Linux operating systems and virtualized environments is a plus.
• GitOps(ArgoCD) experience would be a plus.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and/or Python programming.
• Sound knowledge of networking and VPN configurations.
• Experience and knowledge of Helm Charts is must
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices is an advantage.
• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) and CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
