Production Engineer

Job Description: Junior Production Engineer Smart Switches Manufacturer (Home Automation)
Department: Production/Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Soldering Tasks:
   
• Perform precise soldering of components on PCBs as per design specifications.
• Inspect solder joints to ensure quality and reliability.
• Follow standard operating procedures for soldering and handle tools safely

• Assembly Operations:
  
• Assist in the assembly of smart switches and other home automation devices.
• Verify proper placement and connection of components during assembly.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting during the assembly process.

• Panel Wiring:
  
• Perform panel wiring as per layout diagrams and schematics.
• Ensure proper cable routing, connections, and adherence to wiring standards.
• Conduct basic continuity checks for wired panels.

• Support Production Activities:
  
• Assist senior engineers in maintaining production schedules.
• Follow quality assurance processes to ensure consistent product quality.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets.

• Equipment Maintenance:
  
• Keep soldering tools, assembly equipment, and wiring tools clean and in working condition.
• Report any issues with equipment to the maintenance team.

• Learning and Development:
  
• Participate in on-the-job training to enhance technical skills.
• Stay updated on best practices in soldering, assembly, and wiring techniques.

• Basic knowledge of soldering, assembly, and panel wiring techniques.
• Understanding of electronics and electrical circuits.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or ITI certification in a relevant field.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related industry.
• Basic familiarity with tools like soldering irons, crimping tools, and multimeters.
