Structural Engineer Trainee

Responsibilities

• Work and excel in the core area of Structural Engineering.
• Excel to build a career in the very robust and upcoming industry of Steel Structures.
• Work in various functions of Structural Steel detailing.
• Study and analyse Structural Steel design contract drawings.
• Be well versed in AISC/BS/BIS construction standards.
• Gain experience in checking structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
• Visualize problems with fabrication and erection and suggest alternative solutions.
• Meet project schedules of clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build rapport with clients by delivering zero defect drawings every time.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of basic structural engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of different Structural Engineering Standards (AISC/BS/BIS).
• Knowledge of different structural steel shapes.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other team members - both oral & written communication.
• Ability to work in a flexible team environment and be a team player.
• Good communication capability - both written and oral
• The keenness to learn and adopt new things.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Computer Skills - MS Office, Adobe, etc.
