Color Correction : Adjust and correct colors, contrast, brightness, and saturation to ensure the image matches the desired artistic vision or client specifications. Image Manipulation : Perform advanced image manipulation techniques such as compositing, background removal, object removal/addition, and image stitching. Image Restoration : Restore and repair old or damaged photographs by removing scratches, stains, and imperfections while preserving the original quality. Image Selection : Evaluate and select the best images from a collection based on the project requirements, artistic direction, or client preferences. Quality Control : Ensure the final images meet the organization's quality standards, technical specifications, and industry best practices. File Management : Organize, categorize, and maintain a library of digital images to ensure easy accessibility and efficient workflow. Collaboration : Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver the desired visual outcomes. Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in photo editing software and digital imaging technologies. Time Management : Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications : Experience : Proven experience as a Photo Editor or similar role, preferably in a professional or creative setting. Proficiency in Photo Editing Software : Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other industry-standard photo editing tools. Technical Skills : Familiarity with various photo editing techniques such as color correction, image manipulation, and image restoration. Understanding of file formats, resolution, and printing processes. Creative Eye : Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance the visual appeal of an image by applying creative and aesthetic judgment. Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of image editing and accuracy in meeting specifications.
