Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman specializing in HT (High Tension) & LT (Low Tension) Panels to create, modify, and manage electrical drawings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing single-line diagrams (SLDs), panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and control schematics while ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. They will also maintain drawing control and support engineers in design development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update HT & LT panel designs, including SLDs, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and document control systems for electrical panels.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards (IEC, IS, NEC, IEEE, etc.) and customer specifications.
• Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate and updated panel designs.
• Create busbar layouts, terminal block diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for HT/LT panels.
• Assist in quality control checks to ensure error-free documentation before approval.
• Manage version control, archiving, and retrieval of electrical drawings.
• Generate and maintain as-built drawings after project completion.
• Support project teams with drawing modifications based on design changes and site requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical drafting, specifically for HT/LT panels.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Revit MEP, or similar CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical switchgear, power distribution systems, and protection schemes.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, NEC, IS, IEEE, etc.).
• Experience in document control and drawing management systems is a plus.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in HT & LT panel layout design, wiring diagrams, and SLDs.
• Strong understanding of electrical symbols, circuits, and panel wiring layouts.
• Knowledge of busbar calculations, load distribution, and electrical safety requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, manufacturers, and project teams.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
