About the team:

The Data Science team at WeRize plays a critical role in all the decisions, both small and big. This is a strategic team that helps solve business problems across all parts of the organization to drive growth, manage risk, improve operations, etc.

Some examples of the problem statements that this team addresses:

- Should credit be offered to a segment of customers? What should ROI be?

- How to improve collections efficiency through remote channel?

- How to improve the conversion rate of the funnel?

About the role:

You will help shape WeRize credit, business and collections strategies by using data driven insights. As a key member of the team, you work closely with leadership to craft and execute analytics-driven strategies.

Responsibilities:

- Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and provide data analysis driven recommendations.

- Includes the development of hypotheses, frameworks for tests, analysis, options, scoping operational feasibility, implementation and tracking outcomes.

- Guide juniors and deliver projects on time. What can you expect?

- Excellent coding skills: Python coding (a must skill) and developing SQL queries.

- Project Management: Expert in independent execution, adept at guiding and supervising junior data analysts, ensuring timely delivery of the projects.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Level of experience: 2 to 5 years

- Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research

- Work experience from similar companies preferred with relevant work experience in Business or Risk or Collections or Data Analytics.
