Director - Strategic Sourcing - Industrial Machinery (17-25 yrs)

Role Overview:

- Lead and manage end-to-end operations for Sourcing and Purchasing across business units.

- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency, ensuring seamless procurement and robust vendor partnerships. (casting/forgings / machined parts/gears/commercials items and indirect items). Lead cost optimization initiatives, including zero-based costing and market benchmarking, to achieve budget alignment and cost efficiencies.

- Drive capacity planning and part development programs to support new product launches, localization, and value engineering. Manage sourcing volumes of 1000 crore annually, focusing on high-volume components like castings, forgings, and machined parts.

Desired Experience:

- BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 17 to 25 Years of significant work experience in the engineering sector in Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, and Cost Management functions with an overall exposure/handling of procurement / MP&L

- Exposure in high volume component/parts developments with challenging lead time / TAT

- Exposure to managing a volume of 100-1500 crores of sourcing & purchase annual value

- Exposure to handling high volume of casting/forgings / machined parts
