Oracle Analytics Cloud Developer - OBIEE (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Analytics Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance analytics solutions, with a specific emphasis on enhancing the speed and efficiency of PeopleSoft reporting.

Your expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), data warehousing principles, and Oracle database optimization will be instrumental in delivering exceptional data-driven insights to our organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and Optimize OBIEE Reports : Design, build, and maintain high-performance OBIEE reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and user-friendliness.

- Data Modeling : Create and maintain robust dimensional data models within the OBIEE Repository (RPD), with a strong focus on the BMM layer.

- Database Optimization : Optimize Oracle database queries through effective indexing, partitioning, and in-depth analysis of execution plans.

- Report Enhancement : Troubleshoot and enhance existing OBIEE reports to improve performance, address data inconsistencies, and enhance user experience.

- Custom Report Development : Create custom reports with advanced CSS styling to meet specific user requirements and enhance visual appeal.

- Oracle Analytics Cloud Implementation : Implement and support analytics solutions within the Oracle Analytics Cloud environment, leveraging its advanced capabilities.

- PeopleSoft Reporting Optimization : Analyze and refine SQL queries related to PeopleSoft data to improve performance and reduce query execution times.

- Implement caching mechanisms to improve data retrieval speeds.

- Schedule reports during off-peak hours to minimize impact on system performance.

- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, analysts, and other team members to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

Required Skills :

- Strong OBIEE Expertise : Extensive experience with OBIEE 11g/12c, including development, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.

- Data Warehousing Proficiency : Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling techniques, star/snowflake schemas, and data cleansing/transformation.

- Oracle Database Optimization : In-depth knowledge of Oracle database query optimization techniques, including indexing, partitioning, and execution plan analysis.

- OBIEE RPD Mastery : Expertise in designing and managing all layers of the OBIEE RPD, with a particular focus on BMM layer development and dimensional modeling.

- Report Optimization Skills : Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize report performance, identifying and resolving query-related issues.

- Custom Report Development : Experience in building custom reports with a strong understanding of CSS for styling and presentation.

- Oracle Analytics Cloud Experience : Familiarity with the functionalities and best practices of the Oracle Analytics Cloud platform.

- PeopleSoft Data Understanding : Good knowledge of PeopleSoft data structures and their relationship to reporting in OBIEE.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle analytics solutions, including OAC and OBIEE.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
