Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Principal GCP Machine Learning Engineer, OFFSHORE (Expert) for our organization.
Daily Tasks
- Design and develop and review advanced machine learning models and architectures, including deep learning, optimization, and generative AI systems
- Lead complex AI/ML project initiatives, providing technical guidance and architectural oversight to cross-functional engineering teams
- Conduct in-depth research and experimentation to evaluate emerging AI technologies, assess their potential applications, and develop proof-of-concept solutions
- Review and optimize existing AI systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency, implementing advanced techniques like model compression and transfer learning
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical AI strategies and implementation roadmaps
Requirements
Minimum Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of machine learning libraries
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms, neural network architectures, and AI model development
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (must have GCP, nice to have Azure) and AI/ML cloud services
- Strong background in statistical modeling, data preprocessing, and feature engineering
- Proficiency in big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure
Leadership and Experience Level
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering
- Proven track record of leading complex AI initiatives from conception to production
- Senior technical leadership experience, capable of mentoring junior engineers and driving technical strategy
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated innovation in AI research or practical applications
