providing technical support and assistance to SAP system users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of SAP applications

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Incident Management: Serve as the first point of contact for SAP-related issues, logging, tracking, and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
• System Monitoring: Regularly monitor SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
• User Support and Training: Assist users with SAP-related queries and provide training to enhance their understanding and use of the system.
• Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the SAP system, manage data reconciliation, and address discrepancies.
• Change Management: Support design changes, system integration testing, and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and business units to ensure seamless integration and operation of SAP systems.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date system process documentation and training documents to ensure all changes and updates are well-documented.

Background and experience

• Experience in SAP support or a similar role (advantage).
• Understanding of Shipping industry processes (advantage).

Competencies and skills

• Experience with SAP or any other business application system support or maintenance
• Familiarity with data management and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office
