Job Description

Role & Responsibilities of a Sales Manager at Webnotics:


1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies

  • Design and implement sales plans to meet revenue targets and foster business growth for Webnotics.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT services and solutions market.

2. Lead and Manage Sales Team

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve sales goals, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to enhance the teams skills and sales performance.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand client needs and offer Webnotics IT solutions (web development, digital marketing, cloud services, etc.) to address those needs.

4. Sales Pipeline Management

  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and account management.
  • Ensure CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) are used effectively to track sales activities and manage the pipeline.

5. Sales Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, track progress, and generate performance reports for Webnotics senior leadership.
  • Provide insights on market trends and recommend adjustments to sales strategies.

6. Negotiate Contracts and Close Deals

  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both Webnotics and the customer.
  • Close high-value deals and secure long-term contracts to drive business growth.

7. Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the IT space to adjust sales strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities for Webnotics.

8. Product Knowledge & Solution Selling

  • Ensure deep product knowledge of Webnotics’ services (e.g., custom web solutions, SEO, cloud computing) and how they solve client challenges.
  • Present and pitch Webnotics’ solutions effectively to potential clients, tailoring proposals to their specific needs.

9. Collaboration with Other Departments

  • Collaborate closely with Webnotics’ marketing, product development, and technical teams to align on sales objectives and customer requirements.
  • Work with leadership to ensure sales strategies align with the company’s broader business goals.

10. Customer Retention & Upselling

  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional Webnotics services within existing accounts.
  • Foster ongoing client communication and ensure satisfaction through timely follow-ups and service delivery.


Preferred Candidate Profile for Webnotics:


1. Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in IT services, SaaS, or technology-driven solutions.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.

2. Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of IT services, web development, SEO, cloud computing, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills for forecasting sales and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on building strong relationships.
