Job Overview.
A Senior SEO Executive is responsible for leading the search engine optimization (SEO) efforts of a company or agency, aiming to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and drive high-quality leads.
This role requires advanced expertise in SEO best practices, tools, and trends.
The Senior SEO Executive will collaborate with marketing, development, and content teams to create and implement effective SEO strategies to enhance the company's digital presence.
Key Responsibilities.
SEO Strategy Development:.
Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and drive traffic.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and tools to continually refine strategies.
Set SEO performance goals and KPIs (e g, organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversions).
On-page And Technical SEO Optimization.
Optimize website content, meta tags, headlines, and internal linking structures.
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing content.
Ensure the websites technical SEO health, including crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and URL structures.
Collaborate with web developers to address technical SEO issues (e g, sitemaps, schema markup, and structured data).
Google Ads Management.
Oversee the management and optimization of Google Ads campaigns to complement SEO efforts.
Conduct keyword research for paid campaigns and align them with organic strategies for maximum ROI.
Track performance and adjust bids, ads, and landing pages to enhance the effectiveness of paid search campaigns.
Content Strategy.
Work with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with targeted keywords and audience intent.
Optimize existing content to improve rankings and user engagement.
Link Building And Outreach.
Develop and manage link-building strategies to improve website authority and rankings.
Conduct link outreach to build relationships with influencers, partners, and high-authority websites for guest posting and backlinking.
Analyze the effectiveness of backlinks and refine outreach approaches to improve link acquisition.
Performance Analysis & Reporting.
Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Generate monthly/quarterly SEO performance reports and suggest areas for improvement.
Competitor And Market Analysis.
Perform regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Stay informed about industry developments and monitor competitorsstrategies.
Team Leadership And Collaboration.
Mentor and guide junior SEO executives and other marketing team members.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, marketing, and development.
Skills And Qualifications.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and increasing organic traffic.
In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
Experience with industry tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other relevant SEO tools.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Experience in managing large SEO campaigns and websites is a plus.
