Fullstack Web Developer

Job Summary:
The Implementation JavaScript Developer is responsible for web-based fixes to address accessibility issues on client websites, ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies and adherence to accessibility standards.

Job Responsibility:

• Develop and implement custom fixes using jQuery, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML to ensure web accessibility compliance.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation to guide clients in resolving accessibility barriers at the source level.
• Collaborate with QA and accessibility teams to address and resolve accessibility violations effectively.
• Analyze and troubleshoot accessibility violations identified through internal scanners and tools.
• Coordinate with the implementation team to ensure processes, methodologies, and techniques are up-to-date and efficient.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate updates, internal tooling progress, and process improvements.
• Interpret and apply WCAG guidelines, ensuring compliance with W3C authoring best practices.

Specification / Skills / Experience:

Primary Skills (Must have):

• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and W3C authoring practices.
• Experience in identifying and troubleshooting accessibility violations using scanners and tools.
• Strong understanding of assistive technologies and methods to ensure compatibility.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git.

Secondary Skills (Nice to have):

• Knowledge of Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express).
• Familiarity with tools or technologies supporting server-side CSS pre-processing.
• Understanding of asynchronous processes and front-end optimization techniques.
