Vendor Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
  
• Identify new vendor development opportunities through market research, industry trends, and supplier performance evaluation.
  
• Conduct price negotiations with vendors to secure optimal pricing agreements for raw materials procurement.
  
• Manage supplier selection process by evaluating their capabilities, reliability, quality standards, and financial stability.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate purchasing decisions into overall business strategy.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in Vendor Development or related field (e.g., Supplier Development).
  
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing principles and practices.
  
• Excellent negotiation skills for price negotiations with vendors.
  
• Ability to analyze data from various sources (market research reports) to inform purchasing decisions.
