Title : DevOps Engineer Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure.

We're seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to champion the reliability and performance of our Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure through proactive monitoring and meticulous management.

Responsibilities :

Manage and optimize Six or more Kubernetes environments, including :

- Service creation and deployment.

- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Upgrading Kubernetes clusters and applications.

Administer the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools :

- Create and maintain build and deploy jobs.

- Monitor pipelines for errors and ensure smooth operation.

Oversee artifacts and container lifecycle management by :

- Ensuring smooth operation of Artifactory Manager and Docker Registry.

- Optimizing performance of container image storage and retrieval.

Manage Kubernetes version control and product upgrades :

- Plan and execute upgrades to Kubernetes and application versions.

- Provide troubleshooting support for upgrade-related issues.

Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new services and tools :

- Evaluate new technologies for potential integration.

- Integrate approved solutions into existing Kubernetes environments, assessing their impact on performance and stability.

Perform continuous monitoring of infrastructure and application logs :

- Proactively monitor various metrics and telemetry data to identify trends and potential issues.

- Draw conclusions from monitoring data and make recommendations for improvements.

- Proactively scale resources and implement fixes to prevent downtime or performance degradation.

- Respond promptly to incident management alerts.

Manage AWS and similar cloud infrastructure :

- Utilize relevant cloud services for efficient resource management.

- Ensure consistent configuration and operation across environments.

Additional Skills :

Intermediate Linux and file systems management :

- Administration, configuration, troubleshooting.

Intermediate Level MySQL and Postgres databases management (hosted and self-managed) :

- Administration, backup, recovery.

Scripting and Programming Languages :

- Bash scripting is essential for automation tasks.

- Proficiency in Python is a plus.

Version Control Systems :

- Experience with Git or similar version control is preferred.
