Finance Controller - Financial Services Sector (5-6 yrs)

Job Role - The key areas of team's responsibilities are as follows:

- Assistance in preparation and submission of GST Returns and GST payment.

- Co ordination with external GST Consultants and internal teams for adherence of GST law.

- Analysis of new regulatory changes in GST.

- Accounting for PMS business and Trustee Company.

- Accounting for purchase and sale of investments.

- Accounting for Fixed Assets.

- Accounting for representative office in Dubai including remittance and coordination for audit of the same.

- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow Statement.

- Preparation of various MIS viz. Department Costing, PMS Receivables, Branch Costing etc

- Compilation of data for various activities like RBI Reporting, Fixed Assets, Tax Notices, financials, Board meeting etc.

- Co ordinating with the auditors and providing necessary data.

- Following up with the necessary teams for TDS certificates.

- Updating of Standard Operating Process and Risk Control Matrices pertaining to activities handled by the team.

Knowledge & Essential Skills:

- Working knowledge of GST is mandatory.

- Basic knowledge of financial products and markets.

- Basic knowledge in Direct tax.

- Knowledge of working in ERP environment.

- Pleasing personality & good communication skills.

- Should be proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PPT).
