Job Description
- Review all new projects and modifications, and provide inputs to eliminate exposure and ergonomic risk.
- Advise and collaborate with management to resolve occupational health issues.
- Create and execute studies to monitor and assess employees exposure to health risks, and to measure the effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures.
- Overseeing biological monitoring programs.
- Assess and analyze research data, summarizing statistics, and compile reports.
- Propose and lead the implementation of programs to protect employee health, and including ergonomics.
- Ensure employee awareness of occupational health and safety concerns, programs, and regulations.
- Investigate incidents, occupational health trends, prepare investigation reports, and implement corrective action to avoid the recurrence.
- Lead audits and inspections in the area of Occupational Health Center and Industrial Hygiene. Ensuring compliance all the time.
- Prepare the Safety / Hygiene / Occupational Health Reports as per defined formats.
- Prepare, update and document the standard operating procedures (SOP) related to safety department.
- Follow up with CFT department regarding implementation internal, external industrial hygiene and occupational health related recommendations.
- Maintain the inventory of industrial hygiene and occupational health equipment.
- Inspect installed industrial hygiene equipment across different plants.
- B.Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering/ M.Sc. Chemistry + Diploma/Certification in Industrial Hygiene.
- 12-15 Years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of API manufacturing process, Regulatory requirements and Process safety elements.
