Warner Bros. Discovery - Senior Engineering Manager - Java/Python/Javascript (16-20 yrs)

Role: Senior Engineering Manager

Roles & Responsibilities :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or Similar discipline.

- 16+ years of commendable track record of delivering complex software engineering systems and platforms.

- 5+ years leading and managing a software development team (providing coaching, mentoring, setting goals, and recruiting talent).

- Full-stack programming experience including Web 2.0 applications using a contemporary JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular).

- Hands-on expertise in disparate full-stack technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between.

- 12+ years of hands-on programming experience using Java, Python, JavaScript.

- Experience in large-scale distributed application architecture, design, implementation, and performance tuning.

- Experience in modern DevOps/SRE practices such as CI/CD, performance monitoring & incident management

- Excellent communication and collaborative skills

- Prior experience partnering with engineers, product managers and technical program managers.

- Prior experience working with content management system, search, and personalization of digital products (OTT application engineering OR other D2C teams) is a huge plus.
