The success or failure of an e-commerce business hinges significantly on its pricing strategy. It serves as a powerful tool for shaping consumer behaviour, boosting sales, and ultimately influencing profitability and market positioning.

Our team manages real-time pricing for all items featured on walmart.com, groceries.walmart.com, and across all Walmart stores. The critical role of pricing in Walmarts business is evident, presenting complex challenges in Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science. Designing and engineering software systems and algorithms capable of handling millions of user requests, processing hundreds of millions of data rows, and managing billions of messages and updates are integral aspects of our daily responsibilities. To tackle these challenges, we utilize cutting-edge open-source technologies, making our team a hub for the best-in-class tools. Working with us provides the opportunity to address these core issues, engineer large-scale systems, and have a substantial impact on Walmarts business.

What youll do:

Build large scale distributed systems in Java

Work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions across all environments

Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, data stores...

Good knowledge of High-Performance Stream processing, Large Scale Messaging Systems

A self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and obsession with quality

Hands on in Architecting and developing large scale applications and analytics solutions that are highly reliable, flexible, and scalable

Solid Experience in developing scalable Event driven applications

Ability to mentor top individual technical talent.

Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate.

What youll bring:

Bachelor s degree or master s degree with 6-9 yrs. of experience in Computer Science or related field

You have a deep interest and passion for technology.

You love writing and owning codes and enjoy working with people who will keep challenging you at every stage.

You have strong problem solving, analytic, decision-making and excellent communication with interpersonal skills.

You are self-driven and motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities.

You will also have to provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small team of highly talented and motivated engineers to deliver these solutions with highest quality.
