Area Key Account Manager

Required Experience

• Total experience (Year wise) : 7-13
• Experience Work wise in the capacity of : MT sales in the ice-cream & FMCG industry
• Preferred Industry/ Company: Ice-cream

Job responsibilities:

• Strive to build and maintain strategic long-term relationships with all MT outlets and regional managers to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives
• Maintain and update sales funnel and initiate sales reviews in conjugation with senior sales executives
• Ensuring 90% + Fill Rates
• Implement sales strategies
• Generate offtakes from a mixed portfolio of accounts and reach sales target
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within a territory
• Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
• Manpower productivity of the team
• Monthly Sales planning and forecasting, considering the shelf life
• Competition tracking & making proactive plans to counter-react
• Allocate manpower in different areas depending on the individual capabilities
• Mentor, motivated, and guided team members ensuring sales-business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on a monthly basis
• Training sales team to develop requisite skills; conducting training on products, selling skills, lead prospecting and closing skills
