regional sales operations and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy Development: Lead the sales strategy for the assigned regions
(Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh), ensuring alignment with company goals
and market trends.
• Team Leadership & Management: Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team
to ensure effective execution of sales plans, achieving targets and KPIs.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships
with key distributors, retailers, and institutional clients, and expand the companys
market presence.
• Sales Target Achievement: Set regional sales targets, monitor performance, and
implement corrective actions to ensure sales objectives are consistently met.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of
competitors, understand customer needs, and adjust strategies accordingly. Provide
insightful reports to senior management.
• Distribution Channel Management: Oversee and optimize distribution networks to
ensure product availability, timely delivery, and maximize market penetration.
• Brand Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement regional brand-
building initiatives, promotional activities, and campaigns.
• P&L Responsibility: Own the sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources
to maximize revenue and profitability.
Key Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3-5 years
in a leadership role (Sales Head or Regional Sales Manager).
• Geographical Expertise: Proven experience working in the Maharashtra, Madhya
Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh markets. Understanding of regional dynamics, market trends,
and customer behavior is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Strong team leadership and people management abilities. Experience
in managing large sales teams and driving them toward achieving targets.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to
devise innovative sales strategies and lead by example.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to negotiate
with key stakeholders and present ideas effectively to senior management.
• Educational Qualification: A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related
field. An MBA is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of the FMCG sector, including product categories, distribution
models, and market dynamics.
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales tracking software.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh
as required.
