SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engagement Lead to drive AI and digital transformation initiatives within government line ministries and departments. Acting as a trusted advisor, the ideal candidate will identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance public service delivery. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep expertise in AI, data ecosystems, and public sector challenges. The candidate will integrate seamlessly into government processes, driving citizen-centric outcomes through innovation, collaboration, and practical execution.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify relevant government departments delivering citizen services by analyzing mandates, existing programs, and impact areas.
  • Embed within departments to understand workflows, pain points, and service delivery challenges, and prioritize critical problem statements.
  • Present our Products in the best light to Prospective government departments and own Proactively pitching business capabilities to potential clients.
  • Prepare sales collaterals (e.g. Presentation, Proposals, Product Brochures) and Business Requirement Documents independently
  • Assess datasets, address data gaps, and implement strategies to strengthen data ecosystems, enhance data maturity, and enable impactful AI-driven citizen services.
  • Develop and deliver clear, compelling, and engaging messages that tell a holistic story
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, and subject matter experts, to gather information and develop compelling proposals/use cases.
  • Design and recommend practical, scalable digital and AI solutions aligned with government objectives.
  • Build and convene a network of ecosystem partners including private sector players, academia, NGOs, and other stakeholders to collaboratively address challenges and co-develop innovative solutions.
  • Conduct large-scale user research, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches to gather evidence and understand beneficiary preferences.
  • Engage stakeholders and beneficiaries in co-creation to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, facilitating the design and selection of the most viable and impactful alternatives.
  • Develop detailed blueprints and roadmaps for AI and digital innovation projects, ensuring alignment with government goals.
  • Engage and Validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback.
  • Support the development of policy frameworks that foster enabling environments for AI and digital ecosystems.
  • Establish and manage Project Management Units (PMUs) within government departments to ensure effective implementation and sustained impact.
  • Provide capacity-building support to government teams and partners in AI, data strategy, and digital innovation.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor s/Master s degree in Public Policy, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 12+ years of experience in consulting, AI strategy, digital transformation, or public sector advisory roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI or data-driven projects in complex environments, preferably in the public sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, data analysis, and digital product development.
  • Proven ability to evaluate datasets, identify AI innovation opportunities, and design strategies for data ecosystem enhancement.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, ethics, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Be committed to expanding business

  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to solving complex challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
