Wadhwani AI - AI Deployment Specialist (4-6 yrs)

Summary :

We are seeking an AI Deployment Specialist to lead the end-to-end implementation of AI solutions across the state, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. The role involves user support, training, and capacity building, acting as Level 2 (L2) support for troubleshooting and gathering user feedback for future enhancements.

The specialist will analyze deployment data, generate reports, and collaborate with state stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to optimize adoption and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Deployment & Implementation :

- Lead the end-to-end deployment of AI solutions across the state, ensuring smooth integration into existing systems and workflows.

- Work closely with local teams and state stakeholders to ensure that solutions are tailored to meet the needs of users.

- Identify opportunities for new deployments or expansion of existing solutions and lead discussions with state administrators for approvals and next steps.

User Support & Feedback :

- Act as the Level 2 (L2) support, resolving minor technical issues and escalating major bugs or issues to the central product and tech teams.

- Actively collect feedback from users, documenting requirements for future iterations and customizations specific to the state.

- Create reports based on feedback and issue resolutions, ensuring clear communication with the product development team.

Training & Capacity Building :

- Serve as the master trainer, providing training to trainers (ToTs) who will roll out the solution at scale.

= Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions as needed.

- Develop training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures to support the deployment and adoption of solutions.

- Collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to build capacity for sustainable use of AI solutions at the grassroots level.

Data Analysis & Reporting :

- Analyse data generated from deployments, identifying trends and insights that will help improve the performance and adoption of the solution.

- Represent key metrics using dashboards and visual reports to communicate progress, performance, and areas for improvement.

- Conduct user research and generate detailed reports to share with internal and external stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for optimization.

Collaboration with State & Product Teams :

- Collaborate with state administrators to facilitate the adoption of the AI solutions and identify opportunities for integrating these solutions with other state-run systems.

- Participate in discussions with the product and tech teams to resolve service requests, fix bugs, and drive ongoing product improvements.

- Document and communicate any state-specific customizations or configurations required to align the solution with local needs"

Technical Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Product Management, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support, product deployment, or project management, preferably in the technology or development sector.

- Experience working with AI solutions or in the public health, agriculture, or education sectors is preferred.

- Proven experience in training and capacity-building initiatives.

- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. , Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau) to generate reports and dashboards.

- Basic knowledge of software systems, troubleshooting, and providing technical support.

- Ability to conduct virtual and in-person trainings using video conferencing tools, webinars, etc.

- Experience in gathering, documenting, and communicating user requirements to technical teams.

- Familiarity with AI-based solutions is a plus, though not mandatory.

Product & Stakeholder Management :

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in a simple manner for non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven experience working with government or state administrators on technology deployments or similar projects.

- Ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders, including local teams, users, product teams, and state officials.

- Experience in conducting user research and generating insights for continuous improvement.

Leadership & Problem-Solving :

- Demonstrated ability to lead deployment projects independently and solve problems as they arise.

- Proactive mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives forward.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
