Cognos Developer (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Cognos Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver insightful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy Cognos reports and dashboards.

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Optimize existing Cognos reports for performance and usability.

- Maintain and enhance the Cognos framework models.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos reporting.

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting solutions.

- Provide end-user training and support for Cognos applications.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Cognos Developer, including report and dashboard development.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling.

- Familiarity with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, and Query Studio.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
