Database Administrator - Oracle DB (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database instances.

- Perform database backups and recovery procedures.

- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Tune database performance and optimize SQL queries.

- Manage database security, including user accounts and permissions.

- Implement and enforce database security policies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.

- Perform database upgrades and patching.

- Develop and maintain database documentation.

- Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to support application deployments.

- Participate in on-call rotation for database support.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture.

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

- Experience with database backup and recovery tools (e., RMAN).

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

- Knowledge of database security best practices.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
