Azure Function Apps Engineer - C#/Python (5-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Functions Developer to join our dynamic engineering team.

As an Azure Functions Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining serverless applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.

You will play a key role in building scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that leverage the power of Azure Functions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Azure Functions using C#, Node.js, or Python.

- Integrate Azure Functions with other Azure services, such as Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table), Azure App Insights, and Azure Logic Apps.

- Develop and implement serverless architectures and microservices using Azure Functions.

- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of Azure Functions applications.

- Integrate Azure Functions with third-party systems and APIs, including authentication and authorization services.

- Handle data integration and transformation using Azure Functions.

- Troubleshoot and debug Azure Functions applications.

- Monitor application performance and identify and resolve issues proactively.

- Maintain and update existing Azure Functions applications.

- Leverage the full potential of the Azure platform, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and other relevant services.

- Understand and implement cloud-native best practices for security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 5+ years of experience in software development.

- 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying Azure Functions.

- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language supported by Azure Functions (C#, Node.js, Python).

- Experience with Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table) and Azure App Insights.

- Experience with integrating Azure Functions with other Azure services and third-party systems.

- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging Azure Functions applications.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
