Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Role & responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic PR plans and campaigns to enhance the organization's reputation and visibility in the healthcare industry.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media professionals, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
• Content Creation: Write and edit engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media. Ensure all content aligns with the organizations messaging and brand voice.
• Crisis Management: Assist in managing and mitigating PR crises. Develop crisis communication plans and respond promptly to any media inquiries or negative publicity.
• Event Coordination: Organize and manage PR events such as press conferences, healthcare seminars, and community outreach programs. Ensure events align with organizational goals and enhance public perception.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, management, and patients, to gather insights and promote positive stories.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, public sentiment, and industry trends. Provide regular reports and insights to management on PR activities and their impact.
• Compliance: Ensure all PR activities comply with industry regulations and standards, including healthcare privacy laws and ethical guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Education: Any Graduate , Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations.
